As We Bid Goodbye to Endeavour

The space shuttle Endeavor is scheduled to return to earth early Wednesday morning June 1, 2011. This is the final voyage of Endeavor as the space shuttle program winds down to its inevitable end. As with any voyage into an unknown frontier, several astronauts gave their lives to further knowledge of space. Many items and technologies we take for granted today are a direct result of the space program over the last 50 years.
